Donald Trump looks electable
A slew of recent polls have cast doubt on the idea that Trump cannot be the next US president. Even after losing to Biden, the former chief of state would probably win if next year’s election were held today.
A poll conducted by The New York Times and Siena College and released Nov. 5 found Trump leading Biden in five out of six key battleground states that will likely decide the outcome of the 2024 matchup: Georgia, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Arizona. Biden led Trump in Wisconsin.
But that’s not all; a CNN poll has recently found the former president ahead of the current chief of state 49 percent to 45 percent in a hypothetical race. A CBS New national poll has also found Trump leading Biden 51-48 in a hypothetical contest. One could argue that Trump has a good chance of becoming the next US president.
And there’s also an Emerson College poll that found Trump leading in Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Wisconsin, with Biden leading in Michigan.
In a nutshell, between Trump and Biden, many Americans think the former should be the next US president.
Justin Clark, who served as Trump’s deputy campaign manager in 2020, stated that the former president is in the best polling position he’s ever been in his political career.
