Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) has increasingly shaped his case for the nomination on the idea that he has delivered victories and results in Florida, while other Trump-backed candidates have struggled at the ballot box.
However, DeSantins affirmed he would support the former president if Trump becomes the Republican presidential nominee, appealing to the party loyalty pledge he signed to join debates. This doesn’t mean that the governor agrees with the fact that a candidate who has been convicted of a crime should be nominated by Republicans.
Despite this idea that is shared by many Americans, many still think Trump should be the next US president.
