Many people are skeptical that this might be, in fact, true. For instance, Representative Eric Burlison of Missouri believes that the news is a bit “far-fetched” since these alleged extraterrestrial species were technologically advanced enough to manage to travel all the way to Earth but somehow unprepared to survive on Earth, which ultimately killed them.
Some people are more open to the idea, believing that the subject is worthy of investigation, depending on the sheer number of UAP reports, whistleblowers, and stories. Increasingly, lawmakers from both parties are now pushing to declassify documents related to UFOs.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer mentioned that the American public has a right to learn about these technologies, especially if they are of unknown origins, non-human intelligence, or part of the spectrum of overall phenomena. Even if scientists have been searching non-stop for signs of life in our universe for many years, they haven’t found exactly what they were looking for. Moreover, NASA likes to call this search one of its “key goals”.
As you probably heard by now, the space agency’s missions thoroughly studied water on Mars, exploring the “ocean worlds” Titan and Europa, and looking for molecules that might represent signs of life in the atmosphere of alien planets.
However, it seems that our understanding of life is a bit fuzzy and never-lasting. Truth be told, this shouldn’t come as a surprise, especially since we still have some Earth-dwelling extremophiles, which are organisms that live in very harsh conditions on our planet and are poorly understood.
