Jimmy Hoffa
Jimmy Hoffa was the leader of the Teamsters Union and a man with many mafia ties. After he was released from federal prison in 1971, after serving 5 years out of a 13-year sentence, he received $1.7 million.
Four years later, he disappeared from the parking lot of the Machus Red Fox Restaurant. After his mysterious disappearance, many mafia guys admitted to offing him, but his body was never found.
Clarence 13X
Clarence 13X was the founder of the Five Percent Nation, a group of people who decided to separate from the Nation of Islam. In 1969, Clarence was gunned down by an unknown assassin, who was believed to be part of an extortion crew.
Some followers of Clarence 13X believed that the extortion crew was hired by the police to take care of their dirty business.

Did the Jim Leslie killing happen in Shreveport, La. I remember something about that one. As for the Kennedy assignation, I believe it was a conspiracy of the CIA, Mafia or Lyndon Johnson behind it.
