John F. Kennedy

I think it’s safe to say that this is the most famous and debated political demise of all time. JFK was struck down while he was in Dallas, Texas, on November 22, 1963.

Even if, very soon, Lee Harvey Oswald is found to be the trigger man, JFK’s targeted passing has still spawned a lot of conspiracy theories out there.

In 2013, a poll suggested that 61% of Americans still believe that a group of conspirators, not just one man, was responsible for his sudden death.

Napoleon Bonaparte

Before 1815, Napoleon conquered most of what we know nowadays as Europe and was very close to being the king of the Eastern Hemisphere until he was ultimately defeated.

Afterward, Napoleon was sent to a private prison island in Saint Helena. Up to this day, the circumstances of his death are unknown. Some people believe it was stomach cancer, and others insist that he died after unknowingly ingesting arsenic.

  1. Did the Jim Leslie killing happen in Shreveport, La. I remember something about that one. As for the Kennedy assignation, I believe it was a conspiracy of the CIA, Mafia or Lyndon Johnson behind it.
