6. Andrew Jackson

You probably know that Andrew Jackson was considered one of the toughest presidents in the United States, and his nickname was Old Hickory. Did you know that he once beat a would-be assassin with only a cane?

It seems like Mr. Jackson had a feisty temperament due to the fact that he fought in many wars and was also part of smaller martial engagements. He was very passionate about duels, and he wasn’t afraid of taking on anyone who dared to call the honor of himself or his family members into question.

Before he was president, he was shot twice while he was involved in a duel, and one time, a disastrous accident happened, and he killed his opponent during the fight.

7. George W. Bush

George W. Bush was a very good baseball player, and he was very appreciated by his colleagues and teachers. Even though he was a fantastic athlete, he was very passionate about cheerleading.

In fact, he was so good at encouraging his colleagues that he was actually the head cheerleader while he was in his senior year at the Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. Sadly, he wasn’t as good at public speaking as he was at cheerleading.

  1. Kennedy was my favorite. To this day I read or watch everything published on Kennedy and Jackie.

  2. Wasn’t it George H.W. Bush who was the good baseball player? As I recall the stories, Bush Senior played first base for the Yale team that went to the College World Series and that played against Cal.
