Ron DeSantis fights for enhanced policies against the nation’s cultural decisions more than any other Republican in the country. He even likes to call this his own war on “woke”.
He concluded a legislative session that established him as the most aggressive and accomplished conservative governor in the whole country. He also signed and expanded the Parental Rights in Education bill, which is also known by critics as the “Don’t Say Gay” law.
The law basically forbids people in public schools to discuss any of the LGBTQ issues. Moreover, he signed a law that bans state and federal funding, but not just any funding; he targeted the ones focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Moreover, this spring, he also signed a law that bans abort*ons at six weeks, which is right before the majority of women realize they are even pregnant.
He also single-handedly removed an elected prosecutor who decided not to charge people under the new abo*tion restrictions, nor doctors who wanted to offer gender-affirming care.
